Venues that
are available as options for your wedding, conference and private and
corporate functions are as follows. (Inspection of Avalon Castle and venues
by prior appointment only).
The Crystal Ballroom
has large sliding doors leading to a large patio with arched windows
overlooking the lawns, swimming pool and water mill. The indoor chapel leads
off the Crystal Ballroom. Also off the Ballroom is a second hall which can
be used for seating.
The Crystal Ballroom is suitable for seating 100 to 250 guests for a wedding
or banquet, 200 to 250 conference delegates or 300 guests for a stand up
reception with buffet/finger food.
The Gazebo on the lawn and indoor Chapel leading into the Crystal
Ballroom for wedding ceremonies.
An indoor oval patio and a bar are available for beverage service and plenty of
room is available for a band and dance area.
The Africa Lounge, on the first floor leads onto a large terrace
through French doors and has arched windows overlooking the lawns, swimming
pool and water mill with fine views to the hilly country side in the
distance. The Africa Lounge complete with an antique boudoir piano,
satellite TV and Av equipment is suitable for seating 50 guests for a wedding or banquet,
100 conference delegates or 150 for a stand up reception with buffet/finger
food. There is room for a band, dance area and bar
The Marquee affords you a flexible venue situated on the manicured
lawns of the castle.
Friar Tuck Restaurant is a medieval themed
restaurant seating up to 100 guests, suitable for weddings, bachelor
parties, banquets, birthday and other celebrations with a difference.
Sherwoods is a private nightclub with large covered
patio to the rear offering seating for up to 100 guests ideal for birthdays,
special occasions and celebrations.
Ample secure parking is available.
Other future plans for the estate include the opening of a roadside café and
snack bar, stabling, and five further deluxe suites as well as budget
accommodation on the periphery of the property.
